Compressor & Facilities Cleaning Position – 2 Positions Reports to: Director, Roustabout Operations Purpose: The Compressor & Facilities Cleaning position will be tasked to clean gas compressor stations and office facilities at the customer’s Gas Gathering plant in New Town, North Dakota. The crew will also be responsible for stocking cleaning supplies and water for customer’s office facilities. Essential Functions & Hours: Functions: • Transport to/from job location • Clean compressor stations • Clean office locations • Stock cleaning supplies and water Days & Hours: • Monday through Friday • 7:30am – 5pm Duties & Responsibilities: The Compressor & Facilities cleaning position will interface with the customer’s Area Lead, Process Specialist, Senior Reliability Operators and Reliability Operators for the continuous cleaning of Compressor Stations and Facilities at the customer’s Gas Gathering plant in New Town, North Dakota while maintaining stock supplies and water at the customer’s office facilities. Tools & Materials used during job completion: The following is a non-exhaustive list of the tools and materials to be used during job completion: • Pickup truck • Cleaning solution • Rags • Brooms and mops • Absorbent tubes and pads • Garbage disposal • Water • Personal Protective Equipment (steel toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, FRC, 4-way gas monitor, hearing protection) Significant work site weight measurements • Garbage containers full of numerous soaked absorbent pads/tubes should be team lifted. • Soaked absorbent tubes: up to 75 pounds. • Garbage bags full of soaked pads/tubes: up to 100 pounds. • Case of water: 29 pounds. The percentage of the normal work day that the physical activity is conducted is identified as follows: • Rarely: 1-5% of a single function and/or work day • Occasionally: 6-33% of a single function and/or work day • Frequently: 34-66% of a single function and/or work day • Continuously: 67-100% of a single function and/or work day • Sitting work- (Frequently) ride in truck to/from job location. • Standing work- (Frequently) wipe down equipment. • Right upper extremity- (Frequently) carry garbage, water, and cleaning supplies to/from job location; manipulate steering wheel, wipe down equipment, manipulate mop and broom, position pads/tubes under equipment to absorb fluids, place soaked pads/tubes in garbage container. • Left upper extremity- (Frequently) carry garbage, water, and cleaning supplies to/from job location; manipulate steering wheel, wipe down equipment, manipulate mop and broom, position pads/tubes under equipment to absorb fluids, place soaked pads/tubes in garbage container. • Elevated work- (Occasionally) clean equipment parts located at elevated levels with no access from ladders or steps. • High lift- (Rarely) up to 50 pounds; Lift garbage bag out of garbage can and into box of pick-up truck. • Low lift- (Rarely) up to 50 pounds; Lift soaked absorbent tubes/pads from ground level. • Single-hand carry- (Occasionally) up to 50 pounds, up to 200 feet; Carry absorbent pads/tubes, garbage bags, cleaning solution, and rags. • Two-hand carry- (Rarely) up to 50 pounds, up to 200 feet; Carry absorbent pads/tubes, garbage bags, cleaning solution, and rags. • Forward bend, crouch, kneel- (Occasionally) set absorbent pads/tubes under compressors, clean equipment near ground level, clean around equipment with numerous parts. • Ladder climb- (Rarely) Ascend/descend up to 21 steps to access elevated levels on compressors and other large equipment during the cleaning process. • Stair climb- (Rarely) Ascend/descend up to 14 steps to access elevated levels on compressors and other large equipment during the cleaning process. • Walk- (Occasionally) up to 200 feet. • Crawling- (Rarely) up to 10 feet; position absorbent pads/tubes under equipment, clean low levels on equipment near ground level. Work Environment • Lighting: Lighting varies depending on time of day. • Space: Space is adequate for functions that are performed. • Footing: Footing varies dependent on weather conditions and surface. • Temperature: Temperature variations depend on time of year, weather conditions and compressor station facilities.
