Qualifications: • Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, stand, climb and lift up to 70 lbs. for extended periods of time and perform numerous task that require physical agility and manual dexterity as well as mental acuity throughout shift. • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of ROW Construction. • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of trenching and excavation. • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of materials handling. • Must be able to read and understand blue prints, weld diagrams, steel and poly pipe joining procedures. • Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and best practices of pipeline construction and installation from survey to reclamation. • Complete knowledge of all Health, Safety and Environmental rules, regulations, laws and company policies and Procedures. • Must possess and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver’s license pursuant to company policies and procedures. • Knowledge of supervisory techniques and procedures and must complete and maintain pipeline paperwork. • Comprehensive knowledge of required OQ’s and successful evaluation to document knowledge retention. • Knowledge of efficient time, labor and materials management including billing paperwork. Duties and Responsibilities: • Demonstrate effective leadership and supervision of all pipeline personnel, in the performance of the duties and functions required, to complete work efficiently. • Demonstrate the ability to coordinate and oversee subcontractors, vendors and suppliers. • Demonstrate the ability to manage time, materials, resources as well as personnel. • Ability to work without continuous supervision, and exhibit excellent problem solving skills, and demonstrate maximum effort to accomplish tasks with the resources provided. • Demonstrate teamwork, team building with supervisors, subordinates and peers. • Demonstrate effective communications with supervisors, subordinates, peers and client representatives. • Demonstrate proficiency in mentoring subordinates. • Demonstrate honesty integrity and professionalism in all aspects, during the performance of duties. • Demonstrate the application of best practices in pipeline construction and installation. • Perform “competent Person” duties, according to applicable standards, rules, regulations and Company policies and procedures. • Demonstrate adherence to Company HSE requirements, and all other Company policies and procedures. • Other duties as assigned. Other Requirements: • Must be able to work long hours, outdoors, in all types of weather conditions. • Conduct self in a professional manner at all times in the execution of duties. • Maintain acceptable personal hygiene and professional appearance, clean shaven daily. • Required to attend all safety meetings unless approved otherwise by Manager. • Must be able to work weekends when required. • Report to work as scheduled. • Maintain professional demeanor in all dealings with clients, supervisors and employees. • Perform other related tasks as assigned in a timely manner, following all applicable company rules, regulations and policies, as well as Federal, State and local laws.
